Nestled on College Street, this Vietnamese spot draws a steady mix of university students, locals, and tourists looking for a relaxed, no-fuss meal. The focus is clearly on pho—several variations of rice noodle soup featuring tender beef, chicken, and tofu options served in broth that’s rich without feeling heavy. Besides pho, you’ll find specials like pork leg with vermicelli and some satisfying blended shakes including durian and mango, which add a refreshing touch.
The atmosphere inside is casual and cosy, often lively but never overwhelming, with space for solo diners as well as groups. It’s the kind of place where you jot down your order on a pad and get your food quickly, making it a practical spot for a quick bite or a more leisurely lunch or dinner. Accessible parking and a wheelchair-friendly entrance make it easy to visit, whether you’re coming in for a warm bowl after class or gathering with friends over something light and comforting.
People who appreciate clean, flavorful broth without the heavy seasoning tend to come back, along with those who enjoy trying small plates like spring rolls or lemongrass chicken. The mix of steady traffic suggests it appeals both to those craving something familiar and others seeking a straightforward, honest meal in a calm neighborhood setting.

"It’s great food in a place that could use better service and nicer decor."
"Really tasty broth, home made chili oil, lots of onions / green onions."
"Ordered XL roast beef noodle soup and disappointed at the portion."
5 Best Pho Ga in the city. You gotta get that white meat for extra $1 ;)
5 New favourite pho place! The spicy noodle and signature pho are both insanely delicious. I like that the broth doesn’t taste like it’s loaded with MSG like pho tien thanh. I’ve been thinking about it all the time!
4 Went there for diner. It was really busy inside but we got a table right away. It was nicely heated. You put in your order on a piece of paper and your food arrives at an incredible speed. We waited maybe not even 5 minutes. We were impressed. We got pho, spring rolls and fried chicken with lemongrass. It was good and we enjoyed our meal. I only wish there was more lemongrass flavor for the chicken. I was really pleased to see they had avocado shake and durian shake as well as some Vietnamese desserts. Did not try it this time but definitely will one day. Good spot to grab and enjoy Vietnamese food.
5 The Pho is delicious, the broth is so flavourful I highly recommend it. I have eaten the Grilled Pork with Vermicelli twice and would probably get it again. Food is really good in its taste and portion size.
5 Came on a Friday night at 8pm and this place was packed. This is an OG pho spot in Toronto. I haven't been here in about 10 years and I forgot how good their pho was. Their broth was super flavourful and very balanced. I also got to try their banh cuan which was good. My friends each ordered the vermicelli and a rice dish and were jealous that my pho took the W. Would highly recommend to get their pho and would come back.
5 Every time I come here, I always wonder why I don’t visit more often. They probably have one of the clearest and tastiest chicken broths in Toronto. Since I can’t have beef, finding a good chicken-based pho is always a challenge — but this place delivers every single time. I got so many pieces of tender white chicken meat, and none of it was fatty. The broth is light, flavorful, and deeply comforting. In my opinion, they also make one of the best Banh Cuon (Vietnamese rice rolls) in the city. They’re always made fresh to order, and the pork filling is incredibly tasty and well-seasoned. The service is friendly and attentive, and even though it’s cash only, there’s an ATM inside for convenience. This place is a true local gem - the kind of spot that quietly delivers top-notch, authentic Vietnamese comfort food every time.
5 This spot is the perfect place for a hot bowl of pho in downtown. They even offer complimentary hot tea, which is always a nice touch. Don't hesitate—it's definitely worth a visit!
5 Some of the best bun cuon I've had, the spot does it right. The pho broth is flavorful and spring rolls are meaty and crispy. Food came out super fast. But make sure you bring cash, this is a cash only place. They do have an ATM downstairs next to the washrooms and the service fee is a fair $1.75 per transaction.
The pho here is highly recommended, especially the chicken pho with white meat. Other popular choices include spicy noodles, spring rolls, and grilled pork with vermicelli.
It works well for both quick bites and casual sit-down meals, with fast service even during busy times.
The restaurant can get busy, especially on Friday nights, but finding a table quickly is still possible at most times.
Yes, the cosy and casual setting is great for groups and families, including kids.
They provide wheelchair-accessible parking, table service, and clean restroom facilities. Note they accept cash only.
